Ingredients
  

  • 1 Package of puff pastry approx. 400 g
  • 150 g shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 150 ml tomato purée
  • 1 tbsp tomato paste
  • 1,5 tsp Italian herbs optional
  • 1 garlic clove chopped
  • salt and pepper to taste
Toppings hier:
  • 1 handful black olives chopped and pitted
  • 1 tbsp jalapeños

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 200 °C (about 392 °F) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Add the tomato purée, tomato paste, garlic cloves, and spices to a bowl and mix well.
  2. Spread the pizza dough evenly with the tomato sauce.
  3. Spread the toppings and cheese evenly on top.
  4. Roll the topped pizza dough up from the long side to form a long log.
  5. Cut the roll into slices about 2 cm thick. You should get roughly 12–14 pieces.
  6. Place the slices on the prepared baking sheet with the cut side facing up. Make sure to leave enough space between the pinwheels, as they will expand a bit while baking.
  7. Sprinkle a little more cheese over the individual pizza rolls (optional).
  8. Bake the pizza rolls in the preheated oven for about 15–20 minutes, or until they are golden brown and crispy.
